We here at Divapets believe that giving back to our community is very important, and we are very strong advocates of spaying & neutering all pets.

We donate 5% of each and every sale to No More Homeless Pets KC. This is a wonderful organization whose goal it is to have no more homeless pets. They have a wonderful facility where they run spay neuter clinics for low income individuals, rescue groups, and feral cat caregivers. They also have a community outreach program to educate the general public in the need for spaying and neutering their pets.

The clinic runs Monday – Thursday for dogs and cats, and then there is a twice monthly cat clinic for feral and stray cats. Please to click the banner below to learn more.

                                                                                                  

 

We are also involved with a foster program called Kitty City Rescue; you can find them on petfinder. We have  Kansas & Missouri pages. It is a group of individuals that foster sick and homeless kitty’s in their homes till they can be placed in forever homes. We personally fostered and rehomed 18 kitty’s in 2007. It is an expensive and time consuming job, but we do it for the love of the cats.
